Every editick employee, editor, reviewer, formatter and authorised freelancer who handles client projects is required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before being granted access to client information.

The NDA requires team members to:

• Never copy, distribute or disclose client content
• Never retain copies of client documents after project completion
• Follow editick’s privacy and data protection procedures at all times

These confidentiality obligations continue even after an employee or freelancer is no longer associated with editick.

editick does not store:

• Client files remain securely available while a project is in progress.
• After final delivery, project files are retained for 14 calendar days to accommodate revisions, download requests or delivery-related support.

Automatic deletion after 14 days

All project files are permanently deleted from our active storage 14 calendar days after final delivery.

This includes:

• Original uploaded files
• Edited manuscripts
• Formatted versions
• Supporting documents
• Supplementary project files

Once deleted, these files cannot be recovered.

Information retained after deletion

For accounting and customer support purposes, we may retain limited records such as:

• Client name
• Email address
• Invoice details
• Payment records
• Service history

These records do not include manuscript or project files after deletion.
